Turn it off

This is our campaign, supported by Public Health England, to help improve local air quality across southern Oxfordshire by asking drivers to turn off their engines when they are not driving. Keeping the engine running – known as idling – while parked at the side of the road, sitting in traffic, or waiting to collect someone, contributes to an increase in levels of air pollutants, so we want people to Turn It Off.

We have lots of information and campaign materials available on our websites. Just click on the area where you live on the map below to find out more.
