Our timetable below sets out the plan-making milestones, including when consultation periods take place and when we intend to reach key stages.

Draft vision, spatial strategy and plan policies.

The local plan timetable above takes effect from 19 June 2026.

Please note that if you request a paper copy of a document, we may charge a reasonable fee to cover printing, posting and packaging costs.  

Where can I view the timetable?

A copy of the Councils’ Local Plan Timetable can be viewed during normal office hours at: 

  • Council Offices, Abbey House, Abbey Close, Abingdon, OX14 3JE

  • Cornerstone Arts Centre, 25 Station Rd, Didcot, OX11 7NE 
  • Great Western Park District Community Centre, 1 Gentian Mews, Great Western Park, Didcot, OX11 6GR 

The documents will remain available for the public to view until the expiry of a minimum period of three months beginning with the day after the date on which the Joint Local Plan 2045, to which the documents relate, shall be adopted by the Councils under Part 2 of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.
