Joint Local Plan 2045 Scoping Consultation

Go back to the main Joint Local Plan 2045 webpage.

Our scoping consultation runs from Tuesday 8 September until Tuesday 29 September at 11.59pm.

What this consultation covers

We are inviting comments on our scoping consultation, a key first step in the new local plan-making system. This consultation is the first opportunity for the local community and stakeholders to share their views on what the plan should include and how we should approach future engagement.

At this early scoping stage, we aren’t yet seeking views on any proposed plan strategies, policies or site allocations.

How can I take part?

Our scoping consultation runs from Tuesday 8 September until Tuesday 29 September at 11.59pm.

Before taking part in the survey, please explore our interactive webpage which provides further detail on the local plan, alongside background information which may help you to answer the questions.

You can also view our Scoping Consultation Document as a PDF document.

You can view our Scoping Consultation Notice for formal information about this consultation.

We strongly encourage respondents to submit your representations using our online consultation portal above. This is the most efficient way for us to receive and process your feedback, helping to save public money.
