Our Active Communities team offer a range of free and low-cost activities, for young children, teenagers and families to enjoy at locations across South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse during term time.
Under each category, you’ll find when and where the activities take place along with the links, you’ll need to make a booking.
Early Years Activities for parents with young children
Active Buggies
A free fitness session for parents with young children, designed for post-natal participants.
Didcot
- Term Time Thursdays 6 March until 15 May from 10 to10.45am
- There will be no session Thursday 10 or 17 April

- This session is outside but will move indoors in inclement weather

Buggy Walk – Henley
Come along for an hours walk, have a chat and enjoy the scenery with your little one

Titan Tots – Abingdon
A new active session for YouMove early years children to support motivation, confidence, physical competence, knowledge and understanding that provides children with the movement foundation for lifelong participation in physical activity, helping their physical, cognitive, social and emotional development and creates healthy, active movers.
4 weekly trial sessions starting on Tuesday 1st April 2025 10:30-11:15

School Years Activities
Born to Move After School Club – Cholsey and Henley
Featuring the freshest moves and the latest music, these classes get young people fit – fast. Combining cutting edge moves from martial arts, sports conditioning, dance, and yoga. Leave feeling fitter, more mentally energized, and able to take on the world.
Free weekly 45 minute sessions.
- Wednesday 23 April – Wed 21 May – Cholsey Pavilion, Station Road, OX10 9PT
- 4-4.45pm – Reception – Year 3
- 4.45-5.30pm – Year 4-6

Our Active Communities Team work across South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse to help residents with their physical health and wellbeing. They run a variety of weekly activities for all ages and abilities.
